Sycamore panels are the perfect option for those who like brighter coloured wood. It varies from almost white to very light brown. It resembles ash, with the difference that sycamore’s grain isn’t as clearly expressed.
Just like the other wood species we offer, sycamore has many applications.

Oak is strong, durable and good looking. It has golden to medium brown colour. Its grain is straight and coarse, with uneven texture.

End grain cutting board
End-grain cutting boards are not only a good looking compliment to your kitchen. They are mainly a functional accessory.
A panel’s structure is end-grain when the wood grain is vertical and parts of the growth rings are visible on the top side. These boards are more resisant to cutting than other wooden surfaces.
Cutting on an end-grain board, the blade goes in the direction of the grain. That extends the blade’s life since it doesn’t meet the resistence it would normally meet while cutting accross the grain.
This resembles chopping wood on a vertically placed log.

Zebrano is a premium African hardwood. It has a light brown color with dark brown, almost black streaks resembling zebra stripes. Other names for it are Zingana or Zebrawood.
These are the most extra ordinary looking panels you can find in our store. Not only its origins and the way it looks makes it so special. Zebrano solid wood is a material very hard to process.
